2020 Week 1 January 5
WRITING…
“So, writing. What a bitch. I suppose being any kind of artist is hard at times, most times…”
___Anne Lamott, Almost Everything, Chapter 6
I hate to write, but I love having written.

Happy New Year!
I don’t know about you, but, I don’t make annual resolutions.
HOWEVER, January is a good time to review the previous year, looking back, looking forward.
2019 was a mixed bag.
What I did learn about myself is that I do best when I create and accept
a challenge of frequent intervals (daily) and have accountability other than myself.
I haven’t figured out the details of the 2020 challenge(s).
Part of it will be to WRITE in public. (very difficult for an introvert)
I will write a blog post weekly. Fifty-two times.
This challenge will be to discover how I do with more time between tasks.
Will seven days be too long to keep up the momentum?
Will the technology of posting become easier? Please!
Something else will be added as a daily studio task. TBD
I practice yoga daily, short stretches before leaving the bedroom.
Once that door is open, the dog needs walking and cats need feeding.
Making art daily uses the same pattern as the yoga… not too difficult,
not complicated, just steady.
Breathe in, breathe out.
Challenges of 2019 include:
Alphabet inspired by Corita Kent – 26 items
Dog Days of Summer – 101 items
Advent Angels – 24 items
As for you…
Thank you for being.
Thank you for purchasing my art and/or giving me venues.
You are my POTA (Patrons Of The Arts).
Almost all of the work posted is for sale.
Please email me if interested in making a purchase.
